TFT Member Services
Our Member Services office is located in the UK, and we have Member Programme Managers (MPM) based in Switzerland, Indonesia, USA and China. Every TFT Member is allocated a MPM to look after their individual needs, and to monitor their performance.
The Member Programme team:
- Links Members' specific wood requirements with TFT's forest and supply chain management programmes.
- Delivers ‘Wood Control System' monitoring reports to the Member, and - where a report identifies a wood origin problem - discusses the action needed to overcome that problem with the Member.
- Monitors Members' progress towards excluding unknown origin and other undesirable wood from their products.
- Communicates with environmental and social organisations to keep them informed of TFT activities.
- Oversees TFT product labelling and communications issues to enable members to market their support for good forest management, while protecting TFT's integrity and brand.
- Raises awareness within the international timber trade of the environmental and social issues connected with forestry, and recruits new member companies that are committed to trading responsibly in wood products.
- Supports the FSC organisation with strategic inputs
